This is because wetpour is a very porous product and allows rainwater to easily travel through the slits between the shredded EPDM rubber. If these gaps are left untreated then the area can quickly become clogged and unable to self-drain which will cause significant problems in the long run.
A quick way to fix this problem is by using a wetpour repair kit that includes base and wearing course repair kits. This will allow you to re-pour the wetpour in the affected area and make it look brand new again. Alternatively, you can opt for a wetpour recap which involves adding a new 15 mm layer to the existing surface.
